happens if I want to see a physiotherapist from Go Ahead Physiotherapy?
Call or e-mail Go
Ahead Physiotherapy to arrange an appointment which suits you. The
physiotherapist will come and see you at home. The physiotherapist will
carry out an assessment which will include some questions about your
health, your condition and how you are managing your day-to-day
activities. The physiotherapist will find out where you are having
difficulties and assess what is necessary. This may be how you move your
arms and legs or how you manage to move about your home.
Once this is
completed the physiotherapist will talk to you about what you want to
achieve and how physiotherapy can help you. The physiotherapist will
discuss what treatments are available to you and how they will help you.

Do
I need a referral from my GP or Consultant?
No, however Go Ahead
Physiotherapy does accept referrals from GP’s and Consultants.
I
have medical insurance; can I use it for treatment from Go Ahead
Physiotherapy?
As Chartered
Physiotherapists and members of the health professions council we can
register with your insurance company if we are not already. Please
contact Go Ahead Physiotherapy to inform them of your insurance company.
Please check with your insurance company that you are covered for
physiotherapy treatment.
